Requirements

What you need before installing Bookmark Context.

  • Python 3.11+ — the daemon and MCP server.
  • Chrome (or Chromium) — the side-panel extension.
  • Node.js 18+ — only to rebuild the extension UI. Skip it if you use a prebuilt extension/dist/.

An MCP-capable client (Cursor, Claude Code, or any other) if you want to search collections from an assistant.
